What goes down (and must come up) - 2017. Sculpture.

Like ticking clocks and red ribbons that wrap rooms. Red helium balloons lift up into the air, touch the ceiling and get pulled back down again. At its own individual tempo, each balloon travels the space in a dimension we cannot, measuring the room in its movements. In the main hall and amongst exhibits throughout the entire museum, the balloons connect the spaces in their exploration of space, ever synchronizing and desynchronizing in their ascensions and descensions. Mapping unseen breezes and gusts of wind. A dance, dynamic and never still. Rising and falling and coming together.
